Central Oregon Skilled Trades Fair
Industry meets education at the annual Central Oregon Skilled Trades Fair. High school students from around the region are encouraged to register with their school counselors each fall to attend. A wide variety of industry partners, community college programs, and trades are showcased with interactive activities and engaging displays. If you are a high school student looking to learn more about career pathways, make sure to get signed up in the fall with your school. ALL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND WITH THEIR SCHOOL. REGISTRATION IS DONE WITH THE SCHOOL, NOT BY STUDENT OR GUARDIAN.
2026 Skilled Trades Fair Registration is Now Open
Join us for the 2026 Central Oregon Skilled Trades Fair on November 20th, hosted at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds. 2026 Skilled Trades Scholarship
Congratulations to Wyatt McMahan and Josie Hopper!
We are proud to announce the 25-26 Skilled Trades Scholarship winners, Wyatt and Josie!
Wyatt is a Lakeview High School graduate who was part of the construction and agriculture programs. He plans to attend the Peterson Cat program where he will train to become a mechanical technician.
Josie is a Ridgeview High School student who completed the CNA program. She plans to continue her education in health sciences and become a physician’s assistant so she can help others.
The scholarship is funded from a portion of vendor fees for the annual Skilled Trades Fair and other donations directly for the scholarship. Students must have completed at least 2 years in a career technical education program at their school and be pursuing a career in a CTE field.
2025 Skilled Trades Scholarship
Congratulations to Jessica Antunez Garza and Lindsey Moulder
We are proud to announce the 24-25 Skilled Trades Scholarship winners! Jessica Antunez Garza, from The Dalles High School, plans to attend community college for graphic design then move on to become a graphics high school teacher. Lindsey Moulder from La Pine High School plans to get her AA then attend Oregon State to get her Ag teaching degree.

2024 Skilled Trades Scholarship
Congratulations to Beau Mahaney and Evonna West!
Beau Mahaney, from Bend Senior High School, plans to attend Western Welding Academy to continue his edcuation in welding and then make it a career. Evonna West, from Ridgeview High School, plans to get her CNA license then go on to Oregon State University to continue her education to become a geriatric doctor. Congratulations to both students!
