OregonASK, a collaborative network supporting quality out-of-school time programs for youth and families throughout Oregon, is bringing their professional development offerings on the road to Bend! On the afternoon of Friday, May 8th, in partnership with the STEM Hub, they will offer an Oregon Girls Collaborative Project Forum on Engaging Girls in STEM. Big Dream Screening

On January 23rd at 6:00pm at the Tower Theatre, the STEM Hub will present a community screening of the documentary Big Dream. The film follows the stories of seven young women who are breaking barriers and overcoming personal challenges to follow their passion in science, math, computing, and engineering. From small town Iowa to the bustling streets of the Middle East, Big Dream immerses viewers in a world designed by and for the inspiring next generation of girls. OGCP Mini Grants

Are you interested in receiving a $1000 Mini-Grant to put together an amazing Girl-focused STEM project? The Oregon Girls Collaborative Project has recently opened their mini-grant application! In order to apply for a mini-grant, there must be at least 2 programs collaborating on a project, all partners must be registered in the NGCP Program Directory, and the project must be more than a 1 day event.
