Next week is Computer Science Education Week. Celebrate with an Hour of Code! Get started at: https://hourofcode.com/us
Check out the Bulletin’s article on last week’s coding workshop for parents here! If you missed the workshop, you can still try your hand at coding! Just head to: code.org
The Hour of Code is a worldwide movement exposing more than 10 million students to computer science in the week of December 8th-14th, 2014. Anyone, anywhere can organize an Hour of Code event and, with the resources offered, you don’t need to have any experience in computer science or even computers for all of your students. The STEM Hub can facilitate connections between teachers and computer science professionals interested in collaborating for this event. Simply email the Hub Director for assistance. To see which Central Oregon schools are already participating, visit the Hour of Code website.
